ST. LOUIS — Charges have been filed against the inmate accused of stabbing at St. Louis Justice Center corrections officer in the face and neck last Friday.
KMOV reports that Kenneth Gregory, 47, is charged with assault, armed criminal action and possession of a weapon in a jail.
The officer was moving the inmate last Friday when Gregory suddenly stabbed the officer with a homemade weapon.
The officer has since been treated and released from the hospital.
The investigation is ongoing.
