WHITE OAK, Ohio — A Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office correctional officer is in hot water over false allegations she made toward a Dunkin’ Donuts outlet.

The officer posted to her Facebook page that the store had refused her service over the fact that she was wearing a law enforcement officer uniform, according to FOX News. The employee who was accused of refusing service to the officer fired back on their own Facebook page, denying the allegations.

Internal Affairs investigated the incident and found the officer’s allegations to be false, and the sheriff’s office said that the corrections officer would face disciplinary action.

It’s unclear what that disciplinary action will be.

Hamilton County Sheriff Jim Neil took it upon himself to meet with the store’s owner and staff members, who were grateful the matter had been taken seriously and resolved quickly.
