GUAM — The girlfriend of an inmate at the Mangilao facility was caught smuggling crystal meth into the prison inside her baby’s Pampers.

According to Pacific News Center, Jennalynn Evangelista, 25, was visiting her boyfriend with three young children in tow. She was described as looking suspicious to officers in the visitor’s processing center.

They then patted her down for contraband, and after finding none on her, proceeded to pat down the children. They found a substance tucked into the diaper of the 4-year-old.

Evangelista claimed to have received a package from a person named “Z” to deliver to her boyfriend, but said she didn’t know it contained drugs.

DOC Internal Affairs Officer Jeff Limo says there has been a high influx of contraband being mailed to inmates by families, and that the department is increasing its security measures to better combat contraband.
