CHINO, Calif.  — A California men’s prison is training their inmates how to dive deep.

According to Great Big Story, the California Institute for Men has a program for inmates who want to study commercial diving both underwater and in the classroom.

The program was founded in 1970 and has graduated hundreds of inmates, many who have gone on to jobs on oil rigs and ships after being released.
