Robot guards to patrol South Korean prisons

The three 5ft-high robots have been developed by the Asian Forum for Corrections


LONDON — A prison in South Korea plans to use robots for patrolling, which would ease the burden on their human counterparts.

A jail in the eastern city of Pohang plans to run a month-long trial with three automatons in March, the BBC reports.
