Harris County, TX Sheriff’s Office has awarded a contract to AmCad for a GAP Analysis for the Jail Management System

Houston, Texas– AMCAD announced today that Harris County awarded a contract to American Cadastre, LLC (dba AMCAD) for the GAP analysis for the Jail Management System for the Harris County Sheriff’s office. AMCAD was selected over eight other vendors by Harris County. The successful GAP analysis will allow the Sheriff’s office to move on to phase 2 of the progressive acquisition creating one of the most modern and sophisticated jail operations in the United States. Harris County is the 3rd largest county by population in the United States and houses on average 10,500 inmates per day.
