StuntCams new body SCDVAI body camera detects day and night

Infrared ability allows an officer to see up to 24 feet in pitch black conditions

By C1 Staff

StuntCams recently introduced a new body camera system that automatically detects whether an officer is recording during day or night, ensuring that footage is being recorded accordingly.

The SCDVAI 1080p Auto Infrared Body Camera DVR features one touch recording, auto night vision, pre-event recording, loop recording, swappable camera heads and 4-hour swappable batteries. It’s also light weight, so it won’t hold officer’s up when it’s clipped to their shirt lapel.

In low light or pitch black conditions, the infrared option is automatically enabled and record in black and white video. This infrared capability allows an officer to see up to 24 feet in pitch black conditions. Day time recordings are completed in color.

The SCDVAI is capable of 1080p recording, but also offers multiple recording modes.
