Danner Introduces Striker Sergeant GTX Slip-On Boot With Non-Metallic Toe For Extra Protection in The Field

PORTLAND, OR - Danner introduces the new Striker Sergeant GTX NMT (Style No. 42924) slip-on boot, now featuring the Pro-Tec Non-Metallic Toe. A lightweight composite cap, the Pro-Tec NMT dissipates impact energy to protect the wearer’s toes. The Striker Sergeant NMT, which joins Danner’s Striker series of boots, is designed to give optimal support, protection, durability and comfort for law enforcement professionals while on duty. Offering lightweight support, the Striker Sergeant GTX NMT is an easy slip on-and-off boot, well suited for station duty or detective and investigation field work.

Featuring a waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX liner, the Striker Sergeant GTX NMT is equally at home indoors and out. Danner’s patented TERRA FORCE platform consists of five components: an insole plate, midsole, internal and external shanks, and the Danner-designed, durable and slip-resistant Radical TF outsole. The upper is stitched to the midsole in the heel and forefoot areas to provide added stability. The internal shankworks with the insole plate to create a firm foundation. The external shank gives exceptional lateral and medial strength. The result is an unusually lightweight yet stable base.

The Striker Sergeant GTX NMT is built with 2.0-2.2mm waterproof full-grain leather. With its GORE-TEX liner, the Sergeant GTX NMT will keep wearers dry and comfortable all day long.

The Striker Sergeant GTX NMT has a suggested retail price of $125. Offered in men’s sizes 7-12, 13, 14D and 8-12, 13EE, the new boot will be available to consumers in January 2005.
