Danner Creates Special Online Resource To Allow Soldiers To Swap Personal Stories, Photos

PORTLAND, OR - Danner, Inc. has created a special section on its website to enable U.S. soldiers stationed in Iraq to share their stories and photos with families, relatives and friends. Called “Dispatches,” the new section is interactive, so that people at home can send messages and post their own stories for the soldiers to read.

Danner Dispatches gives friends and families of U.S. troops a glimpse into the daily life of a U.S. soldier as he or she works to accomplish their mission in the Middle East. The Danner Dispatch project was launched when Danner received a military order to send thousands of their Desert Acadia boots to the U.S. troops stationed in Iraq. Danner wanted to formally show its support and appreciation for the contributions being made by the troops and to provide an online community where they could share their stories and post photos for people back home.
