RUSSIA — A man was caught just outside a prison fence using a crossbow to fire contraband cell phones into the facility for inmates to use.
The Mirror reports that Cornelius Bazarov, 21, was arrested after he was found stumbling through the woods after a wall guard noticed the movement and triggered an alarm.
The next morning authorities discovered a bag with a crossbow and 10 bolts with 18 cell phones, spare batteries and ear pieces strapped to them with tape.
It’s unclear if Bazarov had the chance to fire any phones into the prison.
