CARLISLE, Pa. — A man attempted to head butt a corrections officer while being taken into prison for domestic violence charges.
According to Penn Live, 40-year-old Juan Machado is facing charges of simple assault, resisting arrest, aggravated harassment by a prisoner, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after being arrested on Saturday following a domestic violence report.
Police say they were responding to the report and found Machado outside. After investigating, police started to take Machado into custody but he resisted arrest.
Once they got him to prison, Machado attempted to head butt a corrections officer and continued to be unruly.
His preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 1.
