Heroes like Correctional Officer Mari Johnson from the Texas Department Of Criminal Justice, Miller County (Arkansas) Correctional Officer Lisa Mauldin, and Bertie (North Carolina) Correctional Officer Meggan Callahan, had their service questioned when their senseless murders hit mainstream media.
