PIKE COUNTY, Ohio — A woman who escaped sheriff’s deputies while being booked on drug charges was found about three hours later sitting in a hot tub, still wearing the jail’s yellow jumpsuit.

Autum Satterfield, 34, fled the Pike County sheriff’s booking center at about 4 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Columbus Dispatch. She was facing a charge of possession of heroin.

Pike County deputies, Waverly police, the State Highway Patrol and local fire departments were involved in the search for Satterfield.

Her jail-issued shoes were found at a nearby farm, 10tv.com reports. A helicopter with thermal cameras was then called in to help with the search.

Moments later, dispatchers received a 911 call saying a woman wearing a yellow jumpsuit had been spotted sitting in the hot tub at the Bristol Village Activity Center in Waverly.

Satterfield was arrested at the center, still sitting in the hot tub. She will now face a felony escape charge, authorities say.
