CANTON, Ohio — The U.S. Marshal’s Service announced Tuesday that authorities have captured four of five inmates who escaped from a Canton correctional facility earlier this month.

Authorities made their fourth arrest late last week, when they tracked Jason Drake, 39, of Waynesburg, to Guernsey County, the Marshal’s Service reported.

A marshal’s task force continues to search for the fifth escapee, 24-year-old Vincent Blanc of Canton.

Blanc, Drake and three others - Jaden Miller, 23, of Carrollton, Joshua Bingham, 36, of North Canton and Michael Fisher, 30, of Massillon - are accused of breaking a first-floor window and escaping from the Stark County Regional Correction Center between the night of Feb. 10 and morning of Feb. 11.

Miller was arrested Feb. 12 in Carroll County by the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, Bingham was arrested Feb. 14 by the U.S. Marshal’s task force and Canton police, and Fisher was arrested Feb. 20 in Canton. Fisher is also accused of assaulting a Canton woman and stealing her cell phone and cash on Feb. 15.

The correctional facility on Lesh Road houses adults convicted of low-level felonies in Stark, Holmes, Tuscarawas and Wayne counties, according to the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections. Inmates may be sentenced there as an alternative to a prison sentence, or in addition to prison time.
