Contraband: Drug-filled handball

This tip was submitted by a corrections officer in Indiana. This is a picture of a blue offender handball that has been altered to look like part of the grass. If you break it open you can see that the balls are being filled with contraband like drugs and tobacco.

The balls are camouflaged so when someone throws it over the correctional facility’s perimeter wall and lands in the grass, officers won’t be able to see it. But the inmates expecting a delivery know what to look out for.
