EMPOWERING ADULT STUDENTS
- HIGH IMPACT SCHOLARSHIPS: SCPS has extensive scholarships available to all students. All students receive a $2,500 scholarship in their first year. (This can be increased to $4,000 in your first year if you maintain a 2.8 GPA.) If you receive tuition reimbursement from your agency or employer, the SCPS Fellows Program provides an additional matching scholarship of up to $5,250 per student, per year.
- TRANSFER CREDIT FROM PRIOR COLLEGE OR WORK EXPERIENCE: Our approach to non-traditional credit allows you to earn college credit for learning achieved in settings other than a college lecture hall, including Police Academy training. This can save you close to 1.5 years and up to $22,680 in tuition; providing you with a personal sense of accomplishment for past achievements. Loyola accepts transfer credit earned from community colleges and regionally accredited universities.
- ADVISING AND PERSONAL SUPPORT: From enrolling in classes to campus resources to graduation, our dedicated student advisors provide guidance and strive tirelessly to fulfill your academic needs.
- FACULTY: SCPS instructors are experienced at teaching and working with adult learners like you, and help foster a supportive community to ensure you succeed.
