LUDLOW, Mass. — New technology is helping keep track of inmates at the Hampden County Jail and House of Correction in Ludlow.
Inmates are wearing tamper-resistant, coded wristbands that track their location at all times. The wristbands also give staff vital information, according to WWLP.
The system allows staff to keep enemies apart, cutting down on the risk of fights and resulting injuries.
