In this position, you will: •Monitor correctional clients assigned to the Electronic Home Monitoring (24/7) program. •Admit and release Electronic Home Monitoring participants to the program as ordered by the court and interact with court personnel. •Document case information in electronic offender databases and client monitoring systems and complete progress and violation reports for the court. •Communicate and enforce Electronic Home Monitoring program rules with adult and juvenile clients, their families, educators, and employers. •Demonstrate pro-social role modeling for Electronic Home Monitoring participants.
Need to have: •One of the following: ◦Two years or more of paid social service or criminal justice experience providing direct client service. ◦A two-year Human Services Certificate. ◦Note: College coursework in the behavioral sciences can be substituted for the required work experience. Nice to have: •Knowledge of and the ability to use the Offender Management System, Court Services Tracking System, Management of Adolescent Information, and other criminal justice databases. •A general understanding of evidence-based practices and the role it plays in a correctional organization. •Knowledge of community resources, and willingness to work in a community-based work environment. •Ability to: ◦Be flexible, multi-task while recognizing priorities, and meet established deadlines. ◦Establish and maintain good relationships with clients, co-workers, and the public.
