33 corrections officers graduate in NY county's largest ceremony

The ceremony is the culmination of eight weeks of intense classroom, firearms, and hands-on training to prepare these newly hired Officers for their career in corrections

UTICA, NY — Thirty-three Correction Officers graduated in today’s ceremony, making it the largest Corrections Academy Ceremony held by the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office.

According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, the 2015 Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Correction Officer Training Academy graduation ceremony was held this afternoon at MVCC in Utica.
