DENVER — Following a recent attack on theater shooter James Holmes, the Colorado Department of Corrections won’t be adding additional security measures for the inmate.

The Denver Post reports that the DOC feels that their current security measures are adequate and they will not be reviewing their policies and procedures.

Mark Daniels, 27, assaulted Holmes on Oct. 8 while Holmes was being transferred by a correctional officer.

Holmes is serving life in prison for killing 12 and injuring 70 others during a theater shooting.
