Contraband: Blanket pocket

The images below were taken after a cell search done on an offender. The C1 member who submitted them said that they saw the offender on a cell phone, which prompted the search. After quite some time, the officers could still not locate the cell phone.

“As we were about to leave the cell, we took down a drape/blanket that the offender had hung up over his cell door,” the C1 member wrote. “We made sure everything was searched thoroughly and were starting to think he’d gotten rid of the cell phone somehow.

“After searching the drape/blanket before exiting the cell, we noticed a pocket sewn into the blanket itself. Upon further investigation, we found the cellphone inside the pocket sewn into the blanket.”
