Note from the author
My expertise has always been in dealing with security issues, whether as an instructor or an officer. I like working with staff and inmates and I take a lot of pride in my ability to communicate with people and be a good listener. I like working in real time, meaning I don't like to put things off. i.e, make a decision based on your training and experience and move on. I was always raised to believe that when things need to be done, "we go to work and go to work"! I feel very privileged to have the opportunity to express my thoughts, ideas and experiences on CorrectionsOne.
