NM riot photos still haunt ex-corrections officer

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — She has kept the photos in a black leather binder for 33 years, though there have been times, many times, when she has asked herself why she still holds onto them.

"But then I tell myself, 'They are history,' " Marcella Armijo says. "Terrible history."
