This revolutionary ballistic shield has been given the tactical name of "TAGM", (pronounced "Tag-em"),after two of the nations most respected, and experienced Training Officers with over 60 years of combined law enforcement experience, and expertise.
Sergeant Tim Adams, and Sergeant Gerald Machurick, of the Miami Gardens Poilce Department's elite Training Command, challenged VBC to design, and produce a level IIIA Attic Entry Ballistic Shield for use by SWAT/ERT Teams, Fugitive Apprehension Teams, and K-9/Marine Search Teams.
The result is the "TAGM"
Sergeant Tim Adams is past President of the Florida SWAT Accosiation, (http://www.floridaswat.org/) and past Regional Director of the National Tactical Officers Association.
Sgt. Adams is a combat wounded veteran of Vietnam, and has recently returned from duty in Jalabad Afganistan where he served as a tactical police instructor with DynCorp International in support of the NATO tactical mission. Sergeant Adams was awarded the presitgious "John Kolman Award of Excellence" and was selected as the "Tactical officer of the Year". He has participated in Over 700 "call outs" and has been nominated for the Gold Medal of Valor.
Sergeant Gerald Machurick has over 30 years of policing experience, and has earned a Bachelors Degree in criminal justice. He has been a K-9 Unit Commander, Marine Patrol Commander, and has commanded a major Street Crime Unit. Sgt. Machurick has served as a SWAT commander, and trained sniper. He also has vast experience as a Motorcycle Officer. He is a master instructor in a wide varity of tactical Police positions.
He is currently Acting Captain for the Miami Gardens Police Department training unit where he coordinates and manages the 201 Officers, and 62 civilian personnel assigned to the Miami Gardens Police Department.

During January 2012, the "TAGM" will undergo an intense R&D process under the guidence of Sgt. Adams, and Sgt Machurick.
