First Choice Armor Introduces Revolutionary, New Level IV Plate

New Plate Exceeds NIJ Standards

BROCKTON, MA … First Choice Armor and Equipment announces the availability of its revolutionary new Level IV plate, the "Max IV." In independent testing at First Choice's on-site laboratory, the new Level IV plate's performance has been impressive, significantly exceeding NIJ standards.

"In testing, we have had multiple shots stopped without penetration," says Director of Research and Design, Tom Madison. "This is a significant result for a Level IV plate. The NIJ certification requirements mandate stopping only a .30 Caliber 166/M2 AP round, for one hit. This Level IV plate well exceeds the NIJ standard."

"We feel that this high performance plate will be used in high threat environments, including law enforcement, military, and the emerging security market overseas," states Karen Herman, President.

The Level IV "Max IV" Plate will come standard in 10" x 12" but will be available in other sizes and in a trapezoid shape, as well.
