Michaels of Oregon - Blackwater Gear Launch a Success

Government and military guests treated to demonstrations and hands-on inspection

MOYOCK, NC - Hostage rescue, dignitary protection, automobile chases and K-9 inspection were all scenarios presented to guests at the launch of the Blackwater Gear line of tactical military and law enforcement equipment at Blackwater USA on October 21, 2004.

Michaels of Oregon, in partnership with Blackwater USA and Crye Associates, launched the new line of military and law enforcement gear that includes body armor, apparel, knives, hydration units and more at the Blackwater USA facility in Moyock, NC. Guests were able to simultaneously see the Blackwater Gear and the capabilities of Blackwater USA in action. Executives from all companies were on hand to answer questions and give detailed briefs on all products in the new line.

"The ability of Blackwater USA to fully demonstrate the abilities of Blackwater Gear as well as their own facilities gave participants a view of a new tactical line that could not be achieved at any other venue."
