First Choice Armor Adds Cooling Technology to Body Armor Offering

BROCKTON, Ma. - International body armor manufacturer, First Choice Armor, has announced the availability of its Evercool Insert technology for law enforcement and military markets. The Evercool Insert can be slid into any concealable or tactical vest and offers cooling effects for up to two hours.

Evercool Inserts work by regulating a person's body temperature. Through this "thermostat effect," the inserts can absorb heat to cool or even release stored heat to provide warmth. As a result, sweating, the body's natural reaction to overheating, is often reduced, adding to the comfort factor.

Evercool Inserts are wrapped in Cool-Tek™ mesh that can be easily added to most tactical and concealable vests. The inserts do not require any refrigeration or other mechanical means for re-charging. The panels can simply be removed from the vest and laid flat in a moderately temperate room.
