First Choice Introduces Charitable Program

For Immediate Release

BROCKTON, MA - With the establishment of its "Protect and Serve" program, First Choice Armor is truly living up to its company pledge, “With you. For life.” The international body armor manufacturer’s “Protect and Serve” initiative, launched earlier this year, is a charitable program to benefit law enforcement, military and corrections personnel who wear First Choice Armor.

"We want to show the wearers of our armor that First Choice is with them not just in the line of duty, but in their life," stated Karen Herman, President of First Choice Armor. "This program is really a ‘thank you’ to all those who risk their lives every day to keep us safe."

With the “Protect and Serve” program in place, if any person is saved from critical injury or possible death while wearing a First Choice Armor vest, First Choice will replace the vest free of charge and will donate money in that person’s name to the charity of his/her choice.

"We care about what’s important to the officers and we want to support causes that matter to them," commented Herman. "We want to go a step further than simply replacing their vest."

Herman says First Choice has been looking to create a program like this for some time. It became a reality earlier this year with the implementation of the new "With you. For life" platform and the company’s revamped identity.
