Uncle Mike's Law Enforcement™ Introduces SlimLine™ Technology to PRO-3® Triple Retention Duty Holsters and Dual Magazine Cases
OREGON CITY, Ore. - Uncle Mike's Law Enforcement™ is introducing its SlimLine™ PRO-3® Triple Retention Duty Holsters and Dual Magazine Cases. Offering reduced size and bulk to enhance appearance and wearability, these new SlimLine Holsters and Cases pack full-size performance into smaller, lighter packages.
"Duty officers will find the SlimLine PRO-3 is a breakthrough in combining maximum holster retention with wearer comfort," said Tom Marx, law enforcement marketing manager for Uncle Mike's Law Enforcement. "New technology and construction techniques give it a more slender profile, while still offering all of the independent methods of retention that have made the original PRO-3 the leading triple retention holster available today."
The SlimLine PRO-3 offers three types of independent retention: Uncle Mike's patented internal locking device, a retention strap/thumb break assembly and an adjustable tensioning device. Initial available applications include holsters to fit a number of popular Beretta, Smith & Wesson, Glock and Sig Sauer service pistols with additional sizes becoming available throughout 2004.
SlimLine technology gives Uncle Mike's new SlimLine Dual Magazine Case the same versatility as standard models while reducing the belt space needed by one-third. Designed for metal or polymer double-column 9mm or .40 S&W magazines, the case has separate compartments with independent tensioning devices to protect and retain the magazines. A molded "dual slot" belt loop accommodates dress or duty belts up to 2 ? inches.
All models of the new SlimLine PRO-3 Holster and Dual Magazine Case utilize Uncle Mike's patented multi-layer laminated construction, which combines either a MIRAGE™ Plain, a MIRAGE Basketweave or a Cordura® nylon exterior with an internal, reinforcing polymer layer, a foam core and a smooth nylon lining. The SlimLine PRO-3 Holster body is suspended within a patented Kydex® exoskeleton to maximize firearm protection and holster durability.
