BRAINTREE, MA—Inertia™ brand concealable body armor provides superior flexibility and features not commonly found in Level II and IIIA hybrid body armor constructions. Twaron® based ballistic panel conforms to most body contours, while Gold Flex™ layering allows the vest to exhibit almost zero visibility. Because it is a hybrid, Inertia greatly reduces the amount of torso trauma by utilizing more square inches of the ballistic panel at impact. The Inertia’s special combination of these two fibers exceeds industry armor standards, making the package that much more “universal,” regardless of duty uniform, operation or deployment.
