Just Delivered: New and Improved Wants and Warrants Application from VisionTEK

Over the past year, FrontLine users across the country have provided their comments and suggestions regarding the Wants and Warrants client’s display and usage to us. We listened to our user community’s needs; we inquired about their desires. We then worked diligently to update and upgrade Wants and Warrants meeting both user needs and desires. The culmination of this effort is version 5.2 of FrontLine Wants and Warrants, just released and available to all VisionTEK customers. This version of FrontLine Wants and Warrants client delivers:

•Improved Workflow
•Better use of screen real estate
•Enhanced presentation of displayed query returns

Reviews from users who have seen and used the new version state that its functions are easier to navigate and the display is much easier to read. Many were especially happy that the new upgrade allows them to configure the client’s display to match their personnel preference without disturbing that of another officer using the same machine - three officers, three different displays.

Wants and Warrants – Version 5.2 Provides Improved Workflow

•Allows card read functionality on multiple query screens, with one query screen set as the default
•Displays Summary data and Response data on one screen
•Allows users to use Response tree to quickly to toggle between Raw Data and Summary data screens
•Response Tree can display return data in the order they are return by the queried data sources.
•Displayed Raw data is specific to its source, not combined

Wants and Warrants – Version 5.2 Layout Provides Better Use of Screen Real Estate

•Response tree moved to left pane of application workspace; always displays response tree pane
•Splitter bar allows width size adjustment of workspace panes
•Screen selection button strip decreased in height and moved to bottom of application workspace
•Button strip contains seven buttons for screen selection
•Query screens, Response Viewer Screen, Raw Data Screen, Summary Screen, and Freeform Query Screen display in right pane of the application workspace

•Response Tree colors and text sizes
