BOLEY, Okla.  — Four state prison inmates remained at large Tuesday evening after five inmates escaped from two separate prison facilities.

Authorities said one inmate, Danny J. Cook, 40, was recaptured. Cook, who escaped from the William S. Key Correction Facility at Fort Supply on Tuesday morning, was arrested in Enid as he talked on a pay phone at an Enid gas station, said Capt. Dean Grassino.

Two undercover detectives noticed Cook, who was wearing a shirt that said “Inmate.” The shirt had been turned inside out, but the word was still visible, Grassino said.

Cook has a lengthy criminal record that includes fraud, forgery, embezzlement and a prior escape from the Pittsburg County jail.

In Boley, sheriff’s deputies searched for four men who escaped from the John H. Lilley Correctional Center about 1 p.m. on Tuesday, said Jerry Massie, spokesman for the Department of Corrections.

The inmates were identified as:

—Christopher Caskey, 23, a white male, about 6 feet tall and weighs 150 pounds. He has blond hair and brown eyes.

—Jack L. Weems, 19, a white male, about 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighs 158 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

—Ricky D. Parks, 26, who is a white male, about 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs 136 pounds. He has blond hair, blue eyes and a tattoo on his neck.

—Bobby J. Stow, 45, who is a white male, about 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs 145 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel eyes. Stow has two prior escape convictions.
