PARKER COUNTY, Texas — The Parker County Sheriff's Office is advising people to be on the lookout for Donald McFaden Orange II, 29, a jail escapee from Parker County who is considered armed and dangerous and may be in North Texas.
Orange is 6 feet 2 inches tall with a medium build and weighs 165 pounds. He has brown hair and green eyes.
Orangewas last seen in Jack County after his inmate clothes were found at a home that had been burglarized Friday night. A rifle also was stolen from the home in Jack County.
The Parker County Public Information Officer and Deputy Danie Huffman advised that Orange has shaved his head since his mug shot. He also has a mummy tattoo on his right leg and the tattoo of a woman on his left shoulder.
Huffman provided the following information: Orange was arrested by the Weatherford-Parker County Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team in November on several outstanding warrants, including two counts of burglary of a habitation, one in Fort Worth and one in Tarrant County; possession of a controlled substance over 1 gram, under 4 grams; criminal mischief less than $500; and theft of property less than $500, all out of Parker County.
Friday, Orange was working as a trustee on Veal Station Road in Springtown when he slipped away, stealing keys and a vehicle.
Officials quickly noticed he was missing and immediately started a search.
A Jack County deputy spotted the stolen vehicle and attempted to stop it, but Orange turned down a road and abandoned the vehicle, fleeing on foot.
Jack County deputies were unable to find him until news of the burglary of a residence late Friday where his inmate clothes were found and a rifle was missing. Orange reportedly tied up one burglary victim and stole a blue and white 1992 Ford extended cab pickup with plate number BH3 3263.
Parker and Jack county deputies set up a perimeter around the home but were not able to find him there.
Search helicopters, including one from the Department of Public Safety in Wichita Falls, searched for him.
Scent-tracking dogs continued to search for Orange into Saturday.
Orange is originally from Connecticut and has no address listed in Parker County.
