BEAVERCREEK — A corrections officer was jailed Friday after police say he refused to speak with officers about a domestic incident, prompting a six-hour SWAT standoff at his Beavercreek residence Friday morning.

William F. Gregg, 29, is in the Fairborn City Jail in lieu of $13,500 bond. He is facing one count of inducing panic and one count of domestic violence.

Gregg has been employed as a corrections officer at Lebanon Correctional Institution since 2010. Spokesman Dan Hudson said the Department of Rehabilitation and Correction was made aware of the arrest and Gregg was placed on paid administrative leave.

Hudson said Gregg does not have a disciplinary record.
