MADISON CO., Fla. — Madison County Sheriff’s Office Corrections Officer Sergeant Jesse O. McDaniel died Wednesday, February 20, according to Sheriff Ben Stewart. Sergeant McDaniel was 53 years of age.
Sgt. Jesse McDaniel served in the United States Air Force 1978 to 1989 until his honorable discharge with an E-5 Rank. Sgt. McDaniel was employed by the Florida Department of Corrections from 1989 to 2003 and was eventually employed with the Madison County Sheriff’s Office from 2005 until his passing.
Sgt. Jesse O. McDaniel is survived by his Mother: Annie Ruth McDaniel, sister: Ella Edwards, brother: Willie McDaniel, and two sons: Jerrod and Jason McDaniel.
