MAYVILLE — A New York inmate is accused of smashing sprinkler heads at the Chautauqua County Jail.

Using a broom handle, Jedediah Shaw smashed at least three sprinkler heads and caused around $450 in damage according to WIVB.

He is now facing charges for third degree criminal mischief and second degree obstructing governmental administration on top of the original charges of parole violation and fourth degree grand larceny.
