Probation ends case of jail heroin smuggling

The drug was hidden in underwear meant for inmate Franklin D. Legg

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ohio — The last of four defendants was sentenced yesterday in a scheme to smuggle heroin into the Franklin County jail in 2010.

Emily D. Mollett, 21, of Withers Avenue in Franklin Township, was placed on probation for three years by Franklin County Common Pleas Judge Stephen L. McIntosh.
